Annual Egg Hunt

Decorated eggs and butterfly
The annual egg hunt was held on Sunday, March 28. The following summary was provided by Ellie Brady.

75-100 children of all ages gathered at the Caraway School playground for the 15th Annual Laurel Oaks Neighborhood Association (LONA)Egg Hunt.

The whistle blew at 3:30 sharp and within minutes all neighbor and LONA donated candy-filled eggs were placed into baskets.

Neighbors gathered early at 3:00 to enjoy the Bunny, snacks and face painting. Richard Thomas made announcements about the neighborhood. A meeting will be held in May - watch for the date soon.

More volunteers are needed to help with LONA - it doesn't take much time and the need is great. Please send an email to the LONA Board to help out - LONA_Board@laurel- oaks.org

Thanks to everyone who helped today and through-out the year!

As you may have heard, our Egg Hunt coordinator is moving to Dallas, which raises the question, who will coordinate this event next year?
