Gary Shaw's Blog - His fight with cancer

Gary was a past LONA president and an avid member of the community. Gary passed on Monday, February 4th, 2008. He slipped into a coma and was peaceful. He was surrounded by his loved ones. We will all miss Gary. Gary's memorial was on February 23, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at Remembrance Gardens at Riverbend, 4214 Capital of Texas Highway North. Instead of flowers, Gary asked for a donation to be made to Austin Habitat for Humanity.
