Newsletters
Beginning with the July, 2008, issue, Peel, Inc., is graciously producing our newsletter, gratis. While most LONA newsletters for the decade 19962006 have been archived here, current newsletters, besides being mailed to each household in the neighborhood, are also posted at the Peel website, along with current advertising rates.

Articles of interest to the neighborhood are always needed, so if you have something to contribute, instructions for submitting articles are also found on the Peel website.

If you are not receiving the newsletter in the mail, but would like to, please sign up here.

Gary Shaw's Blog - His fight with cancer
Gary was a past LONA president and an avid member of the community.

Gary passed on Monday February 4th, 2008.
He slipped into a coma and was peaceful. He was surrounded by his loved ones. We will all miss Gary.

His memorial [was] on Feb 23, 2008 at 10:30am at Remembrance Gardens at Riverbend.4214 Capital of Texas Highway N.

Instead of flowers, Gary asked for a donation to be made to Austin Habitat for Humanity:

Loanables

Maintained by neighbor Ryan Cush
www.loanables.com

This site was heavily influenced by LONA and the helpfulness of this community, so you should all feel like part of it! It is totally free (well, people may charge you to borrow their ladder, but Loanables itself doesn't charge anything at all) so I hope people don't mind me "advertising" it here.
